According to current data from the Bulgarian Enterprise Information System - BEIS, Lidl Bulgaria came in first place among the large retail chains in Bulgaria in terms of revenue for 2024, reaching 2.6 billion BGN. Kaufland Bulgaria EOOD & Co KD - Sofia dropped to second place, followed by Billa Bulgaria EOOD - Sofia and Fantastico Group OOD. The four retail chains realized a total of 7.4 billion BGN in 2024, which is 10% more compared to the previous year 2023 and 37% more compared to 2022. Kaufland Bulgaria EOOD & Co KD - Sofia retains its first place in terms of gross profit realized in 2024 - 147.5 million BGN, followed by Lidl Bulgaria EOOD & Co KD - Ravno Pole Fantastico Group OOD. Billa Bulgaria EOOD - Sofia reported a loss of 38 million leva.
