The Bulgarian venture capital fund LAUNCHub Ventures, which manages a resource of 74 million euros from the EIF, the World Bank and private investors, is leading a 7 million euro investment in the American company with Croatian roots SplxAI. The project for security for agent systems with artificial intelligence also includes the American Rain Capital, the Polish Inovo, the cybersecurity fund Runtime Ventures, the Norwegian DNV Ventures and the Southeast Europe-focused fund South Central Ventures. Partner at LAUNCHub Ventures Stanislav Sirakov joins the board of directors of SplxAI. The active investment period of LAUNCHub, which is scheduled to exist as a fund until 2030, is likely to end soon. In parallel with the investments, the partners are working on preparing the next fund, for which there is already a lot of investor interest. The funding will accelerate the development and deployment of SplxAI’s platform, which enables companies to protect their internal AI agents and AI applications through automated security testing, dynamic vulnerability remediation, and continuous monitoring of AI systems. Many organizations already implement defenses such as automated detectors, but these are often under-trained and result in overly restrictive or overly permissive security policies. SplxAI’s solution automates the AI ??security testing process and quickly detects vulnerabilities in AI applications before they are exploited by potential attacks.
