Sofia municipal council adopted a large part of the annual financial statements of the municipal companies in Sofia. Profits of companies is BGN 19 million. "The better state of the local economy this year is due to increased control," said Sofia Mayor Yordanka Fandakova. She recalled that even in a year of crisis, the profits of local firms increased. Furthermore, the indebtedness of the municipal companies in 2010 compared with 2009 was reduced by 28%. According to the balance sheets of companies Metropolitan Ltd ends 2010 with BGN 5.977 million profit, Center for Urban Mobility - with BGN 3.231 million. Compared to balance profits in 2009 it increased by BGN 662 000 or 26%.
