On average, the price of household electricity will rise by about 2% from July 1 On average, the price of electricity for households will increase by about 2% percent from July 1. This was announced by the chairman of the Commission for Energy and Water Regulation (KEVR), Ivan Ivanov. "Citizens should not feel alarmed about the price of electricity, which we will determine on July 1. All other interpretations are speculative and I would not like them to dominate your publications," Ivanov addressed the media representatives. According to him, there is no reason for KEVR to issue a decision on the price, different from last year's, as the price this year will be negligibly slightly higher. As one of the main reasons for this, Ivanov pointed out that for the next price period (July 1, 2024 - June 30, 2025), the price of electricity from the Kozloduy NPP will remain almost unchanged.
