| Bulgaria is fighting for equal participation with Greece and Russia in the construction of the petrol pipe Bourgas-Alexandrupolis in order to have a voting right for the decisions for the activity of the company, announced Mr. Minko Gerdjikov who represents the Bulgarian companies which want to participate. Bulgaria demands the three countries to have 25 per cent as the rest of the shares will be distributed among the private companies, which will finance the project. Representatives of Bulgaria, Greece and Russia concluded in Moscow a memorandum for political agreement. | Glavbolgarstroy is selected for one of the sub-contractors of the project of the Swedish company IKEA for construction of trade objects in Russia together with the German company Hochfeit. Bulgarian company will build only one store in Moscow, announced the President of Glavbolgarstroy Mr. Simeon Peshov. Recently IKEA reported that the company also would start a manufacture in Russia and the first plant will be near Sankt Peterbourg. | LUKoil-Bulgaria began an open dispute with Minstroy holding, a subsidiary of MG corporation because of distribution of the shares in the consortium for construction of the petrol pipe Bourgas - Alexandrupolis. Minstroy tries to arrange secretly a construction consortium instead of investment, was reported from LUKoil-Bulgaria. | The applicants for the water concession of Varna and Shoumen are five, announced yesterday the Director of Public Utilities Department at the Ministry of Regional Development Mr. Grigor Vasilev. | Glavbolgarstroy will build a tiny town in the Turkish town Adapazar for those people who were harmed by the earthquake in 2000 for over USD 8 million, announced the Executive Director of the company Mr. Evgeni Marinov. In October 2001 Bulgarian construction company won the auction for the construction, financed by European investment bank. The object has to be finished by the end of 2002. | Glavbolgarstroy holding in a consortium with the Turkish construction company Yozapu will build a residential complex Jamile 2 at the amount of about EUR 9 million near the Turkish town Adapazaru on the project TERRA (Turkey Earthquake Rehabilitation and Reconstruction Assistance Project) between the Turkish Government and European Investment Bank. | The newest holiday village at the South Black Sea-side - Paradise Beach will be officially opened on July 27, 2002. The complex is situated next to St. Vlas, between the resorts Sunny Beach and Elenite. The first tourists, lead by the German tour-operator TUI arrived in Paradise Beach on Wednesday. | Four companies applied offers for the construction of the new passengers terminal of Sofia Airport within the deadline, which expired yesterday. The German company Starbak offered the lowest price. Its offer is at a value of EUR 110 608 319,35 as the company gave a discount of 1.5 per cent of the price. The rest f the applicants have offered prices of among EUR 122.8 and EUR 150.8. | European Investment Bank approved the builders of two road sections with a total length of 110 km on a line of Transit roads 3 programme, was reported from the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works. | All nine companies which announced their intention to participate in the realization of the project for the construction of the oil-pipeline Bourgas-Alexandrupolis were invited on a meeting in Wednesday, announced the Minister of Regional Development and Public Works Mr. Hasan Hasan. He will inform the representatives of the companies which of them satisfy the requirements for participation in the project. The report of the special commission had to be prepared by Friday. Mr. Hasan refused to announced which of the companies were approved. It is expected that on Wednesday the companies will announce their pretensions for participation in the future consortium. | The branch of Glavbolgarstroy in Varna bought the state-owned 38 per cent from the capital of the local company Yavor, announced the Executive Director of Stroyinvest holding Mr. Stoycho Simov. Stroyinvest is the other major shareholder in the company with 34 per cent of the capital.
