KMM JSC - Shoumen has appointed Annual general meeting on 20.05.2009. Meeting agenda includes: adoption of the Annual Report for Year 2008.

The General Meeting of the shareholders of KMM - Shumen, Bourse code 4KP, which was held on May 20, 2009, decided that the company should distribute dividends for 2008 in the amount of BGN 0.867 per share. KMM - Shumen reported profit to the amount of BGN 227 000.

Bulgarian Industrial Association (BIA) sent Traycho Traykov - Minister of Economy, Energy and Tourism (MEET) analysis of the found irregularities in the tender documentation, process and procedures for evaluation and publicity of projects under the schemes of OP Competitiveness - Technological modernization in SMEs and Technological modernization in large enterprises. Under both schemes 1104 projects were submitted, of which 175 projects of SMEs and 39 of large enterprises were approved for financing, with total grant value of more than BGN 190 million. The main conclusions in the analysis show that the Evaluation committee has approved draft projects under controversial and non-transparent methods and procedures. As the biggest industrial and employers' organizations in Bulgaria BIA has always pursued a consistent policy to actively protect the interests of its members and to assist government institutions in the implementation of a coherent and effective economic policy in the interest of society as a whole. BIA gives MEET a package of 20 ways for removing the conditions for accidental or malicious distortion of competition results.
