The shares of the Pazardjik-based factory for batteries Elchim-iskra will probably be one of the most attractive shares, offered for privatisation for Compesatory Vouchers at the Stock Exchange. The state will try to sell a stake of 31 974 shares, representing 3.82 per cent of the capital of the factory. The shares are included in the Bulgarska zahar pull. The auction documentary for the pull is being prepared at the moment. It is expected that the election of an investment intermediary for the shares from the pull will be initiated in January. The trade of the shares of Elchim-Iskra will start in February The majority owner of the Pazardjik-based factory is the former privatisation fund Stara Planina Holding, which holds 50.51 per cent of the capital of the factory.

Stara Planina Holding JSC - Sofia, in its quality of an entity, which together with a related entity - Elchim - Iskra JSC, owns more than 90 per cent of the votes in the General Meeting of Slavyana JSc, intends to make a tender offer for buying of shares of the minor shareholders of Slavyana JSC.

The shares of Bentonit - Kurjali have been the most expensive on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange. According to some market analizators the reason for this are not its financial results or the big interest of portfolio investors but the transfers of papers from the company at preliminarily dealt prices. In November started a procedure for increase of the capital of Bentonit from BGN 339 959 to BGN 1 019 877 through issue of new 679 918 shares.

The State Securities Commission decided that Arian Brewery will be delisted from the SSE's register of the public companies. After the end of the successful tender offer of Brewmasters holdings Ltd., in which the owner raised its share to 95.50 per cent, tg the General Meeting of the shareholders adopted decision for ceasing the public statute . Stara Planina holding will inform the shareholders of Slavyana JSC that it is preparing a the tender offer for b-out of the shares.

First East International Bank sold its share (of 8.9 per cent) from the capital of Elchim Iskra - Pazardzhik, BSE announced. The buyer of the shares is CSP Fund Managers Ltd.

The first lot of 14 companies from Bulgarska zahar pool will be listed at the privatization segment on the stock exchange on December 22. On Wednesday the stock exchange announced the initial prices, at which will start the trade with the state-owned shares. For a part of them the quotes are quite high and this means that there will probably be an additional prices reduction.
