Bulgaria's CERB wins HPP generator upgrade deal in Greece Greek state-owned Public Power Corporation has awarded a BGN 2 million lcontract to Bulgarian company Centralna Energoremontna Baza (CERB) for the upgrade of a generator at Kastraky hydroelectric power plant (HPP), CERB said on Monday. The works envisaged in the contract should be completed within a seven-month period, CERB said in a press release. Following the upgrade works, the capacity of Kastraky HPP will increase by 10%. Over the past seven years CERB has worked on a series of projects in Greece, including generator repair works at Kremasta HPP and the thermal power plants of the islands Rhodes and Crete. CERB was set up in 1948. Projects abroad account for 70% of its business.
