The debts of the state-owned "Toplofikazia' JSC (Sofia) to the state-owned "Bulgargas" JSC amount to BGL 7,8 billion.

We agreed to set up a Municipal Insurance Company AD /MIC/ with a capital of BGL 30 million, Sofia Municipal Council reported. As many as 6 municipal commercial companies will hold shares at the new company. Sofia Municipal Bank /SMB/ will hold the largest stake of 30% worth BGL 9 million. Sofia municipality and its companies are big clients to the insurance companies and thus a lot of municipal money is salted away, the project initiator commented. The new company was established and will be managed by a five-member council of directors, Lyubomir Pavlov, chairman of the SMB's board of directors and a member at the MIC's management council reported. Katya Busheva, a current member of the SMB's board of directors, was appointed chairman of the MIC's board of directors and its executive director.
